"I want to thank you for giving me the most wonderful summmer......." as the song goes.

It is the summer of my life. Finally, I am learning not to fight the storms, the oppressive heat or the sometimes torrential downpours. I am learning to relax.

It's time for "lots of fun in the summertime".

It's time for a little slow dancing.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. I won't be receiving any cards.....or gifts. Maybe next year.

The day after Valentine's Day.......Valentine's candy goes on sale. Maybe I will treat myself
to a heart filled with Godiva. :-) I am worth it!

Sunday- April 15th, 2007
On this Spring morning, it’s snowing/raining/sleeting. The Sun is hiding behind white clouds. The lighter shade of grey prevails.
You might think this sort of day would be depressing.......however, it’s not. It’s winter trying to hold on.......it’s trying to roar one last time. This is the sort of day that reminds you....bad times don’t last for ever. There is hope...a new day is around the corner.
As I was driving home from Church this morning....I thought about religion.....in all it’s many faces. It came to me that religion is the spice of a spiritual journey. Different spices for different tastes. Some need no seasoning......some need heavy doses of jalapeno or garlic.... for some a little salt goes a long way.
Personally, I like to try different spices every once in awhile. Where jalapeno is good for some people.....it almost killed me. Does that mean it’s bad? No. Not at all. It just means.....it’s not for me.
My wish for all of us this Sunday morning....is that we find the spice that suits us, whatever, if any, that might be.
