Today, I had to travel to a place called "Liberty, New York". I had to go to traffic court.
There I met a woman. I traveled 2 1/2 hours in one direction to get to the court, she traveled 2 1/2 in a different direction to get to the court. While we were speaking we discovered that her brother was someone I had a crush on in 5th grade! We laughed!
He has had colon cancer....and it has left permanently dependent on a "bag". That is sad....but the good news is...he's alive!! He has a wonderful wife and 4 sons!
This woman and I will become friends....and it will so nice!!!

A bouquet of Yellow Roses...
There are things in our lives we seldom speak of....but they are etched in our memories for all eternity. In my case ....a bouquet of Yellow Roses.
I walk through the door....and there he is holding the most beautiful bouquet of yellow roses I have ever seen. I quickly said "thank you"...but...he has no idea, that later on I gave each rose it's own examination. Each one was perfect! Their smell was as wonderful, as they were beautiful.
Eventually...to my great sorrow...I had to leave the roses behind. They will always be in my mind....fresh and new, a beautiful rememberance of a wonderful day and loving friend.
